I’ve been a hobbyist beekeeper in Marin County California for 15 years. During this time I’ve learned a great deal about honeybees and their habits, which I find fascinating. This site will deal with this industrious and valuable creature.

I hope this site can become a forum for beekeepers in Northern California, who share a similar climate and forage. Beekeeping techniques vary widely from region to region, and even among beekeepers in the same community.
